I guess you must be busy

It's understandable.
We've asked them to stop
the winds and the rains.
They never listen, free spirits
and quick tempered forces.

They kill many of us each year.
If we fall we do make a sound.

We cry out in pain with each crack
and each snap.
we mourn eachother brutally
honestly, emotionally.

I never thought it would happen.
